This website is my project and is currently being rewritten from PHP to GO, so this might take quite some time. Why? I'm glad you asked!

• Speed: Go handles tasks simultaneously rather than one after the other. For you, this means pages will load almost instantly, and actions should feel snappier.
• Reliability: Go is designed from the ground up to handle massive amounts of traffic without breaking a sweat. As the site grows, it will stay stable.
• Efficiency: It requires a fraction of the computer power to run the exact same tasks. This keeps my "infrastructure" lean, green, and highly optimized.

This decision is also affected by my workplace - I work with GO there.

The social subdomain for this website does not currently have any fixed functionality. The idea so far is to use the user accounts for anything that has to be linked to a specific user - be it posting, messaging or managing something on the server.
To create an account, you will be required to come up with a username and a password, as well as have an E-Mail to verify the account one time while registering. No newsletters, no marketing, and zero spam. Just account verification and password reset links (in case you forget your password). I hate cluttered inbox as much as you do :)
